Go with the orchestra who premiered most of these works. I have a Bruckner 9 with VPO and Bernstein that is the best recording, along with first Previn/LSO Shosty 8, that I have ever heard. Gotta love the brass sound. Berlin is a good second choice. If you want nothing but brass, go with the tried-and-true CSO blowfests, particularly the Solti series. What they lose in any musical value, they make up for in sheer volume. Flame away!!
