Hi all!

I find my self in possession a Conn CC tuba that, according to the serial number, was made in 1956. It has a 20 inch upright bell, 4 front action piston valves and is around 36 inches tall. The bore at the 2nd valve measures .750 inches. The top and bottom bows are very good sized. It is a "lady-face" or "Naked-lady" engraved horn. It is gold lacquered and in very good condition. It was not cut to CC, it's a CC by birth.

It has a wonderful sound and is a lot of fun to play.

I'm trying to find out what model this might be and possibly to find an original catalog from 1956 with this model in it's pages. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

This is a very welcomed find as I've had to "thin the herd" lately.

Thanks in advance,

LV
