I believe that the stumbles come from being conditioned to separated bursts vs the extended bursts. That's why I use that hemiola type method. It all becomes one extended sequence.

T /T TKT/K TKT/KTK T Putting a nice accent the K on the fourth beat is what keeps it lined up and moving!

I liked it too, for that opening of the last or almost last Mvt of one of the Ewald Quintets (on Eb just below BC...pickup triplet to downbeat...TKT/K... occurs many times) The rhythm was always more even and spit right out. Your mileage may vary

never tried it out on that al factorum mess!
