It is a great tradition.
Although I'm from Texas, I am certainly a fan of Big 10 Football.
I've been fortunate to have met two wonderful people who have dotted the 'i'.
One was Jan Duga who is in the Air Force Band, Washington, D.C. She had the honor
in 1979. The other was her father, Jules Duga. He dotted the 'i' in 1952.
We met Jules Duga in New Delhi, India ..... He was attending an international engineering conference and we (Dave Zerkel, Dan Sherlock, and myself -- the band's tuba section) were on a concert tour with the Army Field Band. Jules Duga has been an active performer with the Brass Band of Columbus for many years.
