Layout is nice and worth copying if anyone wants to do this for tubas. But poke around a little bit -- you will notice that everyone who wants to make their opinion public does it to brag about their first good piece of equipment, or to trash something that broke on them. On scales of 1 to 10, about 90% of the ratings are 10, and about 6% are 1.

Look around at the Amplifier reviews to see what I mean. Every amp ever built, it seems, has "sparkly Fender cleans and Marshall crunch."

And it would probably be worse with tubas, because they are so dang expensive that most people don't get a chance to spend a long time with several different models.

Still, if we can elevate ourselves above the level of guitar-jock lunkheads, we could have enough accurate descriptions of our equipment to make it worthwhile...
