Unless you double as a banker, the scene here is bleak. I play in a free-lance bq and there are several of those with tuba players already.Even the public schools eliminated 5th grade ,thus elementary band, so some of those laid-off band teaches are still hanging out.This is not a hot bed for the arts but a provincial outpost with pretentions,some mild interest,and of course 2 pro sport teams.Not bitter, just over it. Call me when you get to town, I'll buy you a cold one. Davem
