I plan to get my own horn, when I recieve a scholarship on tuba. Then I can use the angle that tuba will put me through college which would cost many times more then my tuba will.
My parents have already pretty much agreed, if I goto college on tuba, i'll need my own horn.
With that said the horn i'll get it is within 3-5,000, used and not one i plan to make a living on. Just for college, and fun outside of college(i.e. church band, local band etc..)
Im dont' plan on being a music major, btw.
