Recently I shipped a tuba to another location in an Anvil trunk. I decided that considering the item, I would buy insurance with UPS. I purchased it, the horn arrived at it's destination and was found to be quite damaged. I did decided to file a claim and was told that due to the nature of the item, they would have to send an inspector to the receiver's location. They did do that and found that because the horn was packed in an Anvil case, and because I did pay for it being oversize/weight and was not trying to cheat the system, that they would honor my claim. After a lenghty process, I had the horn returned to me to be repaired at UPS's expense.
