There is some flexible 3/4" diameter tubing (used on automatic dishwashers, etc.) available at your local hardware store. You could loop enough of this (just about exactly 24 inches, and clamp it on carefully with nylon ripcords so it doesn't leak) in with your CC slide to make it play in BBb...
...or, rather than this weird-but-workable suggestion, WHY NOT JUST PLAY THE OLD SCHOOL BBb TUBA THAT'S SITTIN' IN THE CORNER OF THE BANDROOM FOR JUST A FEW MORE DAYS?
