When you get the part have a good look at the three trombone/tuba thing in no. 2 (or is it no.3?) There's also a solo in answer to the bass clarinet, CCC triplet Ab, this is very exposed, beware. Also in the pas de deux you are left alone with the bass trombone, a very frightening two seconds (descending G major scale if memory seves). Make sure the conductor is not going to make a complete stop before the end of the Tarantella, don't fall in the hole. The rest is ensemble and back beats. Have fun and play out. John
