Yes, you're probably right, but I don't know for sure. The subjective is what makes jazz so enjoyable for me.
I grew up in a town with thousands of engineers, so I know where you're coming from- and that's cool. I'm a big believer in playing things I like and liking what I play and not asking too many questions in between....upon further evaluation I might decide that I'm not having that much fun after all. :0) Thanks for the insight.
