The 6XH (Elkhart, I was assuming) as opposed to the 7XH (again, assuming Elkhart) was quite noticably larger. (The big "visual" difference was the "no-tuning-slide-in-the-bell-section" thing, but actually a much more significant difference between the 6's and 7's was the actual bell shape itself.)
I honestly haven't laid either up next to a Bach.
