shut up who cares if its a job, theres probably a tuba chair in Iraq or tunisia too, for that matter why aren't YOU playing for a living you seem to think you know so much about what it takes and what is good and right.
Maybe the guy who didnt like the boston BQ gig should have just let those others use this sight and post some crap gig who knows. is there ANYone in this universe who'd seriously consider moving to (of all places) BOSTON for the average BQ gig?? The damn dirt there freezes 2 feet deep in the winter!!! Remeber how long it took for the Poston Symphony auditions to finally settle? They couldn't get the people they kept inviting and wanted to audition to show up! Who'd wanna live there? Oh, mr. joe, you mentioned 20-30 grand, that is a LOT of services for a BQ, scale in most cities adds up to something like 150+ services a year, and we all know BQs don't get paid to rehearse. Whens the last time ANYone here played 150 BQ gigs a year??? Last I heard, Chuck D. isn't leaving his gig anytime soon, so Joe just SHUT UP!!
Joe, your own posts are 95% anonymous and the only people who seem to know or care that its you posting have no lives, the rest of your readers are just dumb impressionable kids now who is PFTT
