Just send 'em to Anderson Silver Plating in Elkhart, IN. (219) 294-6447. (Terry Vantine, foreman) If you want nicks sanded and/or polished out of the FACE of the mouthpiece, they are very antsy about that. You will need to have that part done at home, or simply give them full license to use their best judgement.

They do silver and 24K gold. Upon request, they can double (or more)-thickness plate, too. If you are doing the gold thing, you might consider having them silver plate it first, so if the gold starts wearing off, there will be something there besides raw brass. The belief that it is NECESSARY to silver plate underneath gold, though, is mumbo-jumbo.
