A Bach 25 is similar to a standard Bach mouthpiece (say, an 18) except it was "shrunk in the washing machine". Proportionally it is normal, but overall it is small.

The Tarnex stuff is much like the stuff that restaurants use to clean silverware. Yep, it leaves silver white because it does not buff or polish, it just eats away oxidized silver and leaves unoxidized silver exposed.

I am not as worried about using on the entire (silver plated, right?) tuba as the other gentleman is. I WOULD, though, rinse it off thoroughly with a hose nozzle or sometime like that after using it. The Tarnex could give you a nice "head start" to your polishing job.
