Keep in mind that "helleberg style" just refers to somewhat of a funnel shaped cup. So the Miraphone version of a helleberg can be rather different from the conn helleberg that you had. In general, I think that the miraphone mouthpiece will get a little darker sound because it will be a heavier weight mouthpiece. I would also assume (although I haven't used the mouthpiece) That the rim will have a slightly more rounded shape that the flat conn rim.
