The two tubas are pretty different, really. The 2103 plays more like a "typical German longish-bell rotary tuba", and the 3301 plays more like a "typical squat piston tuba". Between the two, the 2103 leans towards the Mirafone type of feel, and the 3301 leans towards the G50 or 4/4 Hirsbrunner style (in other words, like a very good 4/4 CC tuba, except in BBb). Depends on what you like, and they are not the same. Pick a tuba that you don't want to put down, and the price will seem right.

I've had a well-respected pro play my 3302 (4p/1r BBb). He strongly said it was the best BBb he's ever played, and that he would soon get one himself.

FWIW, the Mirafone 191 plays quite similarly to the 3301/3302, but with rotary valves. Worth a look or two.

And, yes, do make the trip(s) to play on them -- the peace of mind you'll gain by knowing you tried them all is worth the effort.
