Oh my, this reminds me of my high school marching days. Our band marched big over-the-shoulder BBb's and before every game we'ed grab some drumsticks (marching snare ones are the best) and roll out the bell's of our tubas. Every week more and more dents would mysteriously pop up; color guard girls were always a problem...
Anyhoo, we would roll them out to near perfection (we thought), and have a 'twinkle' party. That silver polish comes in a little square box and is the BEST stuff for polishing our babies.
HOWEVER, I wouldn't take a drumstick to a good horn, but we'll see how desperate someone can get when they drop their horn down a flight of stairs 15 min. before a concert.
