Haven't thought out the fingerings......but I'm guessing that a 6-valve tuba w/ both a flat full and a flat half step in creative combinations with the other four valves could provide most of the notes in an extended quarter-tone scale. Personally, I have a challenging enough time playing all the half and full tone pitches "on-the-square".

If you could outfit four tubas w/ players for this then you could cut a chart for Ellis' Ferris Wheel.....

I guess you'll probably need a ring-modulator also!
