If you would like any possible other names, Orpheus Music in San Antonio USED to import TONS of fairly high-end tubas:
Miraphones, Meinl Westons, V.M.I.s, and even a few stencil Rudy Meinls (Wurzbach).
At this time, they only bring in quality Japanese flutes, some collapsable field timps. and Vespro saxophones.
HOWEVER the owner, Dr. Jim Gavigan, has been with Orpheus almost FOREVER -- even back when it was known as Mirafone U.S.A. (or whatever) in California. My point is that he is likely to know someone down there (probably this Mr. Rodriguez) who is an excellent rotary valve repairman.
