I agree that the CA-20 is excellent. I use it in my daily practice as well as on tour with River City Brass Band. It's great for touring, since it's the size of a cassette tape. I just picked up a second one for $14.00 today.

The tuner's low end is excellent. I have found that this tuner is able to pick up the sub-basement G, the one below pedal C. I realize that most notes in this range are mostly sound effect/party trick notes, but it does illustrate the tuners ability. I can regularly tune the (realistic) low notes without running out of air. The other nice feature about this tuner is that after you release your note, the tuner is able to retain the last pitch value for a second or two. This is handy if you want to check notes without eyeballing the tuner while you play.
