Those 45 minute sessions really fly when you work on different materials like that. I've had some times where I would be getting so much into practicing that I'd forget dinner and finally leave almost in time to watch David Letterman.

I believe that the highly talented players like Vizzutti are mostly a result of the right person ending up in the right activity. A person's brain somehow gets wired a certain way, and certain things will always come easier than others. For example, I could always easily learn mathematics, but my sister has had to work her tail off to get close to the same results.

Any of us could try to use the same methods and techniques as our idols, but that's certainly no guarantee that we'll become just as good, or even close. But, it IS a start, and starting the process is always the biggest part.
