this may not be a popular post, but I read every link on the site you posted, and I would have to say the unions demands are not sound. you demand a 32% increase over the next 2 years, and when management offers 22.8% over 5 years, you cry that they are trying to make slaves out of you? Sorry Jay, you have no clue what slavery is, and I resent that and other remarks like it.

You just gave up $36,000 for a part time job that allows you the freedom to do many other things as well, if you choose. No matter what happens from this point forward, and no matter how good the final settlement is, you will NEVER come close to getting back the one years salary.

I have been following Jay's saga like the rest of you, and until today I qwas supportive and sympathetic. Not anymore. The union let the local musicians put guns to there heads and told them to pull the trigger.
