I am the new and very proud owner of a 4 valve 191, and I love it. I have been playing for about 48 years. I play in a brass band and community bands (not a pro) and have been playing on an old 1911 Conn 4 valve tuba, very large and very heavy. I went to Woodwind/Brasswind in South Bend about a month ago. Mike Russo was very helpful in assisting me. I tried many horns, including the 186 and the VMI 2301 and found the 191 the most suitable to my needs.
