Just to show that you're not the only nerd, oxygen saturation at atmospheric pressure is harmless and has no symptoms (at higher pressures, such as when diving, it can cause convulsions and death).

The tingly, dizzy sensation is caused by a lack of carbon dioxide (hypocapnia, it is called).
