I do it on a 4/4 CC (HB2). Even with my big F (Yamaha 822) there isn't enough body to get the full sound I want in this piece. Once, I played it on a 184, and the results were unsatisfactory as well. The only difficulty is picking off a couple of high d's. If your cc tuba has a good high d, this shouldn't be a problem.
