Interesting comment, Joe. Oddly, several people who know me very well have come to hear me play at the symphony and they have asked me a similar question. Usually, I have a BALL when I play most concerts, but I guess I put on a 'game face' when I'm playing. I can only surmise it is because I am concentrating so hard. Oh, there are some concerts that are less, uh inspirational, than others, but in the grand scheme of things, I'm getting paid to play the tuba, what can be better that that?.... I know, a date with Sharon Stone!
