The 20J with its short action valves is rather closely related to the 20K. I would guess that slide diameters are idetical. The catch is whether the radiuses of the slide bow are so too.
As wrecked 20K’s come up on eBay from time to time, do your researches, so you are ready, if that idea really could work.
