I worked for Walter Sear when I was at Mannes in the late 60's. I even owned a Mahillion (Belgian mader) horn. One of Walter's other students played a De Prins model (CC) and he won a gig with a symphony orchestra in Holland on it. As I recall his horn was easier blowing than mine, had decent valves and played pretty well in tune. They aren't bad horns, but the price is a little steep. It would make a great wall decoration.
