This topic is making everybody crazy, but just for the record, so to speak, the Mazur/NYP recording of Kodaly's Hary Janos, is the best recording of that piece, if you want to hear how Battle and Defeat of Napoleon sounds when the bass trombone and tuba are not having a blowing contest, but are ideally balanced, with the massive weight of the tuba driving from the bottom, and the bass trombone providing just the right amount of edge and sizzle to project the theme forward. It's a revelation.
