I just got done taking the laquor off my bass trombone bell. Bix worked great for it. Spray it on, let it sit for about 3-5 minutes so that it all kinda bubbles up, then take a rubber glove and just kinda work the stuff, don't rinse it off yet, but kinda rub it to get some of the harder stuff off...then rinse it w/ hot water...plug up the drain though so you don't clog it w/ laquor, it comes off in sheets.
