I know that it can be done, so hang in there. In high school, I played tuba in the concert band and flute in a jazz combo. In college, fellow student Bob Rusk was a very good tuba and flute player. I have a friend who recently switched from flute to horn and he's doing very well. It may just take a little time, and believing that it can work may help too.
