I had the same problem with my YEP321 when I bought it new. I had it in the shop several times, with no resolution.

IMHO, the smallest piece of lint will cause the new valves to stick. I agree with John, valves 1 & 2 were the worst, no. 3 sometimes, no.4 never. Thinking that the mouthpiece might be picking up lint when I put it in the case's slot, I now put it in its own plastic pouch.

Also, as soon as I realized that oiling a sticky valve didn't help, or even made it worse, I would wash out the horn again, being very careful not to let it touch a cloth or paper towel. At times, I was washing it every week.

Things got better after about six months.
