Just to let all the folks in the Kalamazoo area know...we here at Western Michigan University will be hosting our annual OcTUBAfest on Saturday, OcTUBA 20 from 12:30 to around 5:30. The day's events will include a solo recital by several of the WMU tuba and euphonium students, massed tuba/euph choir rehearsal, sectionals, solos by local players like Mike Shannon, Tim Williams, myself, and our special guest Mark Fabulich (winner of the 2000 ITEC Artist Division Solo Competition), and concludes with performances by the WMU tuba/euph ensemble and the massed tuba/euph choir. Come on out if you're in the area and help us celebrate! It's free!

In addition, I will be performing the Wilhelm Concertino with the WMU Symphonic Band on October 18 (8:00 PM) in Grayling, MI, and again on October 21 (3:00) here at WMU. If you can make it to one of the performances, please stop by afterwards and chat.

Feel free to email me if you need more info.
