Actually, during the early 90's (??) after the UMI consolidation of Conn and King, the Conn 14K changed from a horn that was essentially a lighter 20K with long valves to a horn that was essentially the same as the King 2350. If you look in the Tuba Handbook appendix and compare the Conn 14K and the King 2350, you will find the same specs. That 14K is not the horn that Joe S. so often refers to as better than the 20K (many of us disagree, but it is a good horn).
