has advertised a line of 3 rotor valve BBb tuba models in some lightweight synthetic material, be it plastic or fiberglass.
Colours were white, black, and "brass yellow".
Glassl also makes sousaphones in the same material. 3 and 4 pistons models available.
Furthermore Glassl has made a couple of potentially interesting twists on the traditional German oval Bariton design:
a leadpipe in sterling silver
a tilted topslide on the 4th valve tubing, making intonation adjustments possible.
