I have heard that, especially with our English Bessons, that the composition of the metal used to make the valves (pistons) has something to do with it. The valves expand, obviously with the heat of your breath, and any misalignment or imperfection causes this "sticky" problem.This, however, may be another slant on the problem and not the main cause.
