I played one that was for sale several years ago. It had a huge F tuba sound. Probably not the best solo horn but a good ensemble instrument. The horn wouldn't work for me because the intonation was horrible. By all accounts, all of these horns have the same problem. The owner was trying to give me all of these third-world fingerings. With six valves you could almost find a fingering that would make any note work but it wasn't worth the effort.
Ask Dave Fedderly his honest opinion of the horn. If the pitch is bad, he will tell you.
