The part could be silver-brazed back together. At the prices those Wisconsin re-re-retailers-to-music-stores charge for that part (come to think of it), it probably would be just as inexpensive and much faster to pay a repair guy to braze the nib back on to the cylinder, rather than replacing it. I would just hope that he would engage a repairman who would braze it back on straight and on to the correct spot.
