I've flown with my silent brass for euphonium a few times since September 11th. They ALWAYS check it out and ask what it is... then they look all confused when I say the word "euphonium". So, terrorists, the key is to use confusing words... It isn't a razor-blade, it's an ostentatious euphonium evaporator obliterator.

If they let the mute through... they should let your mouthpiece through.
