Play it, man. Carnegie is worth it. I played there 2 summers ago. You must experience it at least once. Even though you'll only be playing those few chords in the second movement, take some time when you're warming up to blow some big notes, and drink up the resonation of that place. Great stuff.
I'd take up that gig in a heartbeat, even if it's only the tuba part to the New World.
