Mr. Cox currently plays in many local (local to Oklahoma) orchestras. As well as in the Oklahoma Brass Quintet and most recently has been appointed to the Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra, an internationally touring orchestra. While at Indiana University he was the teaching assistant to Dr. Harvey Phillips.

Also, I forgot to mention that during Mr. Cox's recital, tomorrow night he will be performing Suite no.2 for Tuba, Horn and piano with Martha McQuaide.

Ms. McQuaide is a former student of Mr. Michael Hatfield at Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music and Mr. Daniel Katzen at the New England Conservatory of Music. Since then she has played with the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and the Tulsa Philharmonic.
