You really can't think of anything positive to say? That's a shame. Seems to me that you should always support your fellow musicians and give them encouragement, especially after all of the hard work they put into a recital. I don't think you should be there to be a critic, but as a supporter. Was this performance the best they could give at that moment, under those circumstances? Probably, so I would congratulate them for that.
