On consignment you would typically give 10% to the selling dealer. Therefore if you sell it on consignment for $1995 you would walk away with about $1800. It depends on how quickly you need the money. You could take $1500 now, or offer to sell it to them for a little more and see what they say. If you sell on consigment it would take a little longer but you'd get about $1800, or sell privately, which will probably take the longest, and get the full $2000.

Another option is to put it on that auction service. You could list it for $2000, or with a starting bid of a couple hundred and a reserve of $2000. If it doesn't sell you are only out the listing fees of about $5 and you could still go one of the other routes. If it does sell you would pay a couple of percent (check the site for the exact percentages).
