I never own a tuba until now, that is why after two years of college I stoped playing tuba. I return to the tuba with the hopes of starting a clown band with the members of my Clown Alley. After several years there is still no band but I now own a sousaphone and two tubas. Like you, I too am a much better player now. But the most I have done with it is to play with the local Tuba Christmas in my elf costume, play taps as a singing telegram for someones 30th brithday, and serenade a 106 year old lady, along with some of my other musical toys. I play because I love to play. I am to busy with work and clowning to pursue playing my music with others. But I would like to do more after I retire.
