There is always something good to say. Criticism is taught, not learned.
Tell the person what piece(s) you liked and the one(s) you didn't like. Trying to be a critic will never pay off unless you are the teacher and then it is best done in private. The next lesson will suffice.
Unless the player just has no clue, he/she knows whether it was a good or bad performance. You don't need to say anything. All the person wants from you is to know you were there. Your true friends will always come to the concert and say something nice to you. That's why they are your friends.
