My first real tour in many years.
I taught at Florida State University for 3 years and then performed in the Houston Ballet Orchestra for 18 years. These concerts plus the one last night, October 28 at my church, are the start to being a TUBA SOLOIST.
November 2, 8 pm, Longy School of Music, Cambridge, MA. For all you tuba and euphonium players in the Boston area, the concert is free of charge. Come on out. I'd like to meet some of you.
November 7, 7 pm, Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Weatherford, OK, clinic at 4 pm. and the following day, November 8, 7:30 pm, Southwestern College, Winfield, KS with clinic on the 9th at 11 am.
The program should be interesting for those in attendance. Included composers are: Penderecki, Bach, Frackenpohl, Ionel, Grant, Gallagher, Vaughan Williams, Uber, and Capuzzi. I've tried to have something for everyone.
For those of you interested in having a soloist/clinician come to your school, give me a shout!!
