I really like to use my trampoiline to lay the tuba on. It takes the back bending out of the job and it gives a good surface to protect the tuba while cleaning it out with the garden hose and dish soap. Use a trombone snake take all the slides out and snake them clean. Good time to remove the rotors or valves and give a good cleaning. use a old blanket or rug if you want to protect the horn from the springs on the trampoline. This way its easy to handle the tuba around with it full of water. Be careful not to lose any of the small parts with the presure of the water hose if you lay the parts on the trampoline. Good luck hope this works for all you tuba washers.
