I know Brasso is quite abrasive. Don't know about the other....have you tried Maaz or Simichrome? Both are good. But the very best thing I've found is Horn Flush, which totally brightens my raw brass horn if I soak it for 10 minutes (using only a glass or plastic pan to hold the solution.)
