It does. The sound and response of the fourth valve of that instrument is one of the things I like most about it. Good stuff.
A former owner if high renown suggested as much in a conversation with him a while back. He wanted pictures of the fourth valve wrap with the idea of getting Hirsbrunner to do a similar thing on one of his current horns, or something like that.
